Look at me. Do you see me or do you see you?
I have four green stripes next to my left eye
Crescent shaped cuts adorn my elbow
Look at the stars. Do you see light or darkness?
Geometric shapes only exist in the heavens
Man must penetrate the world to know it
Look into my soul. Do you see anger or love?
Maybe you see both and you wonder why the paradox
There is a biomorphic vision waiting to be seen in me
Look to the trees. Do they whisper your name or music?
Your mother told you no no no and now you are deaf and blind
The world is no longer there to experience but to purloin
Look at my hands. Do you see the vitilingo or the pigment?
Dripping from me every day is my time and color
Nothing I am is what I appear to be but still you box me
Look at the world. Do you make it or is it made?
Colors are arbitrary and everything is an illusion
Don’t stop the flow but dip your finger, your arm, your body in
and change it.
