WTF, pizzeria?
This week has sort of been a nightmare for my place of business.
Earlier, we ran out of dough, so I had to tell everyone that called in that the pizzeria was not currently serving pizza.
"But I could make you some of our delicious oven baked wings, instead!"
"...BITCH. *click*"
Then, after being restocked, our dough was frozen and we could still not use it. So tonight, we were super pumped to tell people that our dough was back and yes, we'd love to make you something sized extra large!
...
Until we suddenly were backed up over an hour in deliveries.
So of course, I had to call several angry customers to inform them that their dinner would be arriving later than the hour to an hour and a half we promised them. And then- of course- we ran out of defrosted dough.
So we were back to where we started, except this time orders for extra larges kept coming through from our out of state call center.
It was a friggin mess.
In the end, I had to act as a stand in driver (PS: I CAN'T DRIVE, WTF) and stay late to help the manager with her closing paperwork and cleaning.
But on the plus side, six hours of work! Woo~!
That pay check is going to be oh so very satisfying.
