I can totally ignore that because of the PIRATE CAPTAIN JAMES EMERSON FLETCHER that graced our pages. You can't deny that was one of the most awesome things ever to happen in the series.
Lol, I completely agree. I have to say - for the past couple of books Mr Fletcher was beginning to get on my nerves, but he really grew a pair in this book. XD So cool! And it rocks that now everyone is a freakin pirate - except for Joseph Jared of course, which I think is a darn shame because up until now he's been my favorite quite honestly.
I thought the characterizations on the Lorelei Lee could have been a bit better, especially regarding the "founders of Australia" or what have you. But the Chinese - THE CHINESE! Fantastic. Loved it.
Can't wait for the next one since it seems like Jacky's going to get her own pirate fleet up and running now, haha. XD
I've always been a Jaimy fangirl, but I admit that Mr. Fletcher can get on the nerves sometimes. But yes, this book was his crowning moment of awesome I must say.
I thought Joseph Jared agreed to be pirate mates with them at the end of the book? Must re-read for analysis.
Meh, I was okay with the characterizations, but I wasn't really paying attention--I was still drooling over my sexy Mr. Fletcher. XD
Oh, god, I know I can't wait either. It's gonna be hella awesome.
Well, I mean - Jared definitely twisted the law there at the end, but he did it so... law abidingly? I don't know. I just hardly expected him to show up being the (albeit in the loosest sense of the term) voice of the king. Ew. Threatening Jacky with that shit? Naw, dude - naw. Even if it was just a joke so he could try and get the sexy-times. Just... weird.
And I feel you there - I didn't much care about the side characters of this book since what was happening on the main stage was so much cooler, but the fact that I was able to brush them off so easily and actually can't remember most of their names (except for Mary, lol) I think is problematic.
I can accept Jaimy and all his hotness now - though I wish he would stop hating on the Irish... But really though, he now has my permission to take her hand in marriage or something. XD
THE NEW ONE'S OUT?! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

No spoilers, but if you have not already fallen in love with James Emerson Fletcher, you certainly will in this book.
