I MET CARLOS MENCIA!!!!

Omgosh it was so...wow...and wow....

Ok here's what happened. A month ago, maybe a little more, I was watching Mind of Mencia and this commercial comes on about how he was going on tour called his Punisher Tour. I was excited but I doubted I would have the chance to go. However, through a burst of randomness, I was on the website that was selling the tickets and I had the idea that I'd borrow my brother's dad credit card to buy them and then pay him back. So I did. He was pretty cool about it.

So I got the tickets and waited a month for the day of the show, working and counting down the days. I was so excited that I was going, my brother and I, because we both loved his work and seeing him in person was going to be one of the best things in my life.

So it was Sat (yesterday as I write this) and I kept bugging my brother to hurry and get ready so we could go. I ended up driving because my brother loves to play with his psp and my DS even though he totally hates how I drive. Whatever. So I'm faster than anyone in my family.

Anyways we got there to San Jose where he was going to perform and trying to find the Civic Auditorium and we almost got lost even though I had good orientational skills. What we were mostly scared of was that there were these guys hanging around the parking lot that looked sorta shifty so we decided to hide our valuables in the car where they couldn't find them.

We were a little early cause I had wanted to go there in time for the 7 show and see him early in case he was outside of the auditorium. But instead we went and saw Jack@$$ 2 first since when it was our turn the show would be at 10:30. JA2 was pretty funny but unluckily I was suffering from a slight headache that I got for getting little sleep and not eating that day. Apparently I need sugar or I get headaches. Not the first time it happened.

So having that headache made it a little harder to laugh but it was good all the same. When the movie was over we went over to get in line. It wasn't that long when we got there but when the doors were opening and me and my brother looked behind us, there we sooo many more people. I knew there would be but seeing it was still amazing.

So we went in, located our seat, and the stage was really beautiful seriously. It was colored with lights of green, blue, and purples, some yellows reds and oranges too. There were two West Coast custom type bikes on stage and two hanging cloth things where women were dancing behind, only shadows. Guys of course were applauding e.e

In the middle screen was like a slide show and there was this question flashing right as my brother and I were taking our seats: Do you know where Carlos is RIGHT NOW? And all I could think was "Probably in his dressing room getting ready and doing some stretches like I've seen him do on videos before he does shows."

Then this flashed:

He's in he lobby signing autographs. Go right now and meet him. Seriously. Why are you still reading this? hurry and Go! Go now! He's at the merchandise table!!!

As soon as....the second I read that....I was like *ZIP* off to go wait in line. It wasn't as long as I would have thought but then again it was barely 10 and there weren't that many people arriving. I only had 29 dollars and shirts were 20. I wanted one but my brother begged for one........so I got it...and Carlos signed it...super lucky guy...but we'll share it..not wear it lol

Then I had this disposable camera I had bought that night and I wanted his picture but the guy there said pictures were 20 dollars and I was super unhappy....and see that the guy took the camera from my hand, poised me and my brother together, then Carlos got inbetween us and put his arm around each of us. *SWOON* He touched me!! rofl I was in heaven. He thanked us and then went on to the next person. Oh gosh I had been hoping for something to say and all I can say is thanks!! V.v But it was still nice of them to let me take a picture and not have to pay. I'll post the picture on here later. Hopefully Carlos won't get mad.

So we watched the show...He was HILARIOUS! I was cracking up. I had seen so many of his shows from downloading and watching his stand up and it was practically always the same for a while but this time he had all this new material that was so funny. Having him there live, even with my headache still in play, was the best. I kept snapping pic after pic. Of course it was too bad I couldn't zoom. We were in the way back but the was still an ok shot.

By the time it was over of course we went home and I seriously will never forget that time. CARLOS RULES!
