Grammar question, if any of you know.

Hey all you Inuktitut-loving Livejournalmiut, I have a garmmar question. (BTW, I don't have my book yet, so I'm just guessing.)

I'm listening to CBC-Iqaluit, and during the weather (or what I'm guessing is the weather), they keep on saying words with the endings '-mik' and -'miut'. Like " twentymik, fortymiut." From the context, it seems like it's a high of 20 below, and a low of 40 below. The numbers change also, and they're in keeping with the current weather temps up in Nunavut.

Any clues?

Qujannamik,
C-ko
