Well, anyways, if a soul cannot pass on willingly, they eventually morph into a Hollow soul. These are monstrous phantasms that signify the pain and suffering of death rather than the acceptance of it. Our secondary purpose is to exorcise these creatures.
Yes. It should be noted that they can only be exorcised through the use of Zanpaktou or Kido. Any other method simply destroys the soul, rather than allowing it to pass on.
