Umm, I'm thinking about it. It is evil and sort of pokes at me, so I may find myself adding to it. I want to finish my EdxEd verse first... and update Song of the Broken Hearted.

Pedo Hughes makes my brain hurt. Very well done with the thought processes Hughes went through. This is not a topic that is easy to explore, well done.

I'm still wtfing over this a little bit. Thank you! It was a... difficult thing to write, especially being somewhat of an overprotective mother irl. Things like this, it's hard to draw the line between just a story and... @_@

i find it kind of ironic that people go "OMG i love this!" over Roy/Ed, but Hughes (who is probably about the same age as Roy) only gets the slighty-creeped-out-sidways-glances and gets called a pedophile. i mean, to my mind, what goes for one goes for the other, so what's the problem.

...anyway...sorry about the ranting. >.>;; it's a really good story (even more so to me because i love this pairing, but can never really find it), i just got kind of annoyed with some of the people's comments about 'pedo!Hughes'...

and i have to ask that you continue it please, for some of the reasons mentioned above. ^_^

You know, I was just talking to my beta about that last night. I've been a little guilty of it myself, and I couldn't figure out why. I think we settled on it being because Hughes presents himself as more of a father figure than Roy does or something.

I'm glad you liked it! It was certainly an adventure to write. I actually think I am going to write more for it, both because the pairing has piqued my interest and because I love my beta to bits and this is her OTP.

Wow...what can I say. Hughes as a pedophile...never would have thunk it...it is virgin territory. No pun intended. I do not think too many people have seen Hughes in this light but you write it well. Shy hesistant trusting boy-man Ed comes across so well. Hughes as a resistant pediphile caring for Ed but still unable to stop himself. So far keeping himself away from his daughter. Gracia is nice...but if she knew she would kill him. What would Roy say...what does he know?...what would he do or say if knew about Ed? Now that is another interesting plot twist. I remember stories of how Hughes reacted when he found out the affair between Roy and Ed...wonder what Roy's actions would be? Well done.

Actually, I really can't take the credit for the premise. hikaru_9 ships hughes/ed pretty hardcore, and she and I were talking about what situation would make it a plausible pairing. She's the one who came up with the idea, and I just sort of ran with it. XD Actually, I'm somewhat curious as to how Roy would react, too. He's very protective of Ed, I think, even if it's in an offhanded fashion. Anyway, I'm writing another companion piece (far less dark, though), so, we'll see how it goes, I suppose. Thanks for reading, darlin!
