RL and wedding stuff and cosplay :D
So, I happened to look over the front page of my journal today. It consists of lots of fic posts, some art posts, a post about fics I need to do, my master fic list... I think I'm sensing a pattern here. Oh! There was also a Ycon post. So, err... here's an attempt at a RL post.
Alexis is almost walking now. She'll be one on the 15th. I'm thinking of making her a cake in a cup because they're tiny and cute. I got her birthday present while I was in San Fran. :D
In regards to work, I'm considering taking an inventory and doing a sale on everything I actually have in stock. It's something to do, in any case. I'm sort of thinking of making MK more of a side job until the economy is done being retarded. I kind of miss having a more conventional job, in all honesty. I feel a little frazzled cooped up all the time. I'm actually waiting to hear back about a factory job. I'm not terribly thrilled with the idea, but it is convenient and pays well, and that's all I care about for the moment.
Steve filled out the paperwork to try and get the Navy to change his discharge code. Once it goes through, we'll be another step closer to getting him back in. I'm sort of hoping it all happens after the wedding so I won't have to plan everything from god knows where.
Oh the wedding, I can't believe it's only 11 months away. Time sure flies. I'm working on a guest list, and I keep worrying I'm gonna forget some of my online friends or something. :(
On a happy note, the diet I'm on is working amazingly. I was shocked to find all that drinking and cheating on it at Ycon didn't do me in. I'm right back on track, and I don't think I've felt this good in ages. With any luck, I'll be back down to 115 before the wedding. I figure that gives me plenty of time. Plus, all the fun things I want to cosplay are good motivation.
I decided to make up a list of the things I want to cosplay because I'm somewhat of a visual person, and it's motivating. Since I went to all the trouble, I suppose I might as well share.

This is my dream cosplay for all of ever. I'm entirely in love with her, and this is the first cosplay I was ever actually interested in, before I even knew what cosplay was. XD I think I've finally figured out how to pull it off, so with any luck, maybe I'll do it at a con next year.

Okay, this isn't actually what it looks like. In all honesty, I was in the CoE talking about doing girl!Ed with pink automail, and trying to come up with a good dress to go with it. This is totally herongale's fault.
