There are many hero's I can claim in my lifetime. So many people I look up to and admire. Many who have helped in shaping my life. This post, then, is for them. My hero's, who have made such deep impacts in my life.
Mom, who taught me that even in the face of the most devistating tragidy, one can rise from the ash's and come out stronger than before, and can do so with love.
Dad, who taught me respect for one's heritage, love for one's family, the value of self, the power of determination, the wisdom of silence and the power of truth, and the miricle of forgivness.
Grandma R, who taught me by example about unconcditional love, tact, the importance of others dreams, and how to listen from the heart.
My aunt J, who taught me to dream big dreams, reach for bright stars, and to believe in magic.
My great Grandpa L, who taught me the value of work well done, how not to quit until the job is done and done well, to always do my best, and that it's not so bad to be called 'Angel.' but only when it's grandpa doing it.
Grandpa S, who taught me that humor is vital to ones existance, that we need to always see the lighter side of things in order to make it through.
My brother, who taught me about courage, bravery and doing what is right. He is now and will forever be, one of my best friends.
J, G, who both teach me patience and humility.
R, who taught me the joy of creating from the heart.
And Christ, who's teachings live in each and every one of my hero's. I'm so grateful for the angels he places in my life to help guide me along the path.
Who are your heros?
