Summary: Falling in love is always complicated. Especially when you don't realize who you have in front of you. Some times it takes a friend and some loyalty just to follow through...

Twenty-Five

The hospital was cold and errie. Kaidoh didn’t like hospitals one bit. They were always one of those places he liked to avoid. If he could aid himself then he would to avoid going to such a sterile place. He decided to cling onto Inui’s arm for some type of warmth and Inui accepted and even decided to hold his hand. They had asked for Yuri’s room number and proceeded upstairs to where she was located.

They had entered the room to find Kinomoto-buchou holding Yuri’s hands tightly as if he was extremely sorry for something. His head shot up when he saw Inui and Kaidoh at the door. Beside him laid Yuri looked pale, upset, and broken. Her arm was bandaged heavily, she looked as if she had refused to eat, and her usually braided hair was flowing down her back and onto the pillows making her look even sicker than she already was.

Kaidoh’s hand shook and Inui gripped his hand tighter as if he was feeling the same feelings that he was feeling. There was a lingering silence when they had entered until Kinomoto decided enough was enough and decided to break it.

“It’s nice of you to come,” he said.

“It’s good to know that Sutamori-san is okay,” Inui answered.

Yuri’s eyes widened as if hurt and shocked. Inui hadn’t called her Sutamori-san in so long; it had always been Yuri or playfully Yuri-san or Yuri-chan. It meant that he was going to be very defensive around her and the poor girl couldn’t blame him.

“I’ll tell them for you,” Kinomoto said to her.

“Kinomoto-san!” Yuri protested.

“Tell us what?” Kaidoh asked.

“You both do realize that your friend here as an alternate personality problem?” Kinomoto asked.

Yuri looked even more hurt and her grip on the covers was tight and she looked as if she was about to cry.

“Y-Yuri, you never told me that-“ Inui began shocked. That explained the attack on Kaidoh for sure.

“Yuri-senpai I’m sorry. I didn’t know that you-“ Kaidoh began as well.

“Save it you guys. You have no reason to be sorry. I should be the one sorry for not telling you that I have a disorder like that. It was my reason for staying away from you guys when you both fell in love with eachother. I had tried to fight my alternate personality by getting you and Kaidoh together because my other half was insanely in love with you Inui. I wasn’t in love with you, my alternate was. I love you like a brother and nothing more. But obviously getting you two together was my worst decision ever. Because my alternate had stayed put until it noticed that you two were very loving toward eachother and I couldn’t control it…” Yuri explained

“Things like that can not be helped Yuri. That’s something you can’t control, it’s like you have another person in you,” Inui pointed out.

“It was why Asata left me to go to Europe. I guess you can say I pushed him on to live his dreams, but he loved me deeply until he found out about my alternate personality disorder. My…other side despised him; it hated him with such a fury. She tried killing him when we were together and he left when I explained to him. He must have been disgusted. He never gave any explanation; he just sends his designs to be from Europe as if to make me happy and to apologize for leaving me. It…often makes me feel worse to be honest,” Yuri said choking through sobs.

“Yuri…”

Kinomoto has risen up from his seat to hug her. He usually would talk to her and be friendly, but he never liked touching people in general. He was a rather closed person when it came to physical contact. It’s why he played tennis. Kaidoh and Inui decided to walk over to comfort her too.

“Kaidoh, you’re not hurt too bad are you?” Yuri asked pulling everyone way.

“I’m fine Yuri-senpai,” Kaidoh answered.

“You…you were all bloody when I tried to get my body back,” Yuri said.

“Don’t worry about it. Sadaharu took really good care of me. It’s not like he would think of leaving me injured and bleeding,” Kaidoh muttered with an embarrassed hiss.

Yuri through her tears smiled.

“I wouldn’t blame you guys if you hated me,” she whispered.

“Yuri, no! We already know that it’s not your fault at all. We’re always going to be there for you and be friends and help each other out. If it wasn’t for you pushing me and Kaidoh we would have never been together,” Inui protested quietly.

Kinomoto looked shocked.

“Yes get over yourself Kinomoto; they’re together,” Yuri snapped rolling her eyes.

Kaidoh blushed and buried himself into Inui’s chest to hide his blush.

Yuri almost wanted to say ‘how cute’ but thought better of it.

“Kaidoh I remember you having stuff with you too…” Yuri smiled and decided to cheer up since Inui and Kaidoh would still remain to be her friends unlike her ex-boyfriend in Europe, she continued on, “You did get to make love to him as you planned ne?”

Kaidoh looked back with a blush on his face and nodded. Good, Yuri thought. Her stupid disorder didn’t screw up Inui and Kaidoh’s night together.

“I do not need to even know any of this!” Kinomoto exclaimed with a very dark blush almost matching his hair covering his face.

Yuri cackled.

“What’s wrong Kinomoto? You can’t handle a little boy on boy action or is it just that you want one of them for yourself?” she teased.

“Shut up!”

Inui couldn’t help but smile as he had never seen Kinomoto so irked in his life and he also felt Kaidoh squirm against him.

Yuri smiled.

“I’m glad that you both aren’t mad at me and I’m truly sorry for anything I did,” she apologized again.

“For the trillionth time it wasn’t your fault. Anyway, Kaidoh and I were just checking up o you since Kinomoto-buchou over here seemed worried. If you need anything from us you have our cell phone numbers,” Inui said.

Yuri nodded happily, “If I need anything I will but he refuses to even leave to let me eat alone or not eat.” She pointed to Kinomoto who looked away.

“Because you’re helpless dammit and your alter ego comes out again I swear I’ll help you fight it,” Kinomoto muttered under his breath before looking away.

Inui had then seen something he had never noticed before. He had gathered data on Kinomoto but this was completely different side of him. Every person had defenses but it seemed like Kinomoto had lowered his own for Yuri by seventy percent. He never lowered his defenses for anyone.

That’s when he had realized that. Yuri was good at reading people and never thought about herself often. She was a very giving person. But she didn’t realize that someone in that room might just care about her deeply enough to love her. It would be good if he did actually love her. It would help her so much because Inui didn’t know anything about Yuri’s past life except her boyfriend, and even then… Kinomoto could perhaps completely shove Asata out of Yuri’s mind and her personality problem; and replace al that pain with Kinomoto’s caring unconditional love.

It must have been something Kaidoh had just realized too because he looked stunned for a second. He looked at Inui as if in awe. Inui smiled and shook his head as if telling him to let them sort their feelings out on their own.

“We’ll see you both later. Behave,” Inui teased like Yuri often had done when he and Kaidoh had been oblivious to their feelings.

Yuri looked befuddled for a moment as they walked out the door.

“What?” she asked out loud raising an eyebrow confused.

“Damn those two see through everything don’t they?” Kinomoto muttered under his breath as if shocked.

Yuri couldn’t help but laugh. She didn’t get any of it but knew that Inui and Kaidoh had seen something she hadn’t. Kinomoto couldn’t help but smile as he had witnessed Yuri be happy and smiling again.

(A/N: OKAY! So as you see Yuri isn't completely evil and all. Inui and Kaidoh forgive her completely. Anyway after this chapter Yuri's personality problem really doesn't come into play anymore because I thought that since Kinomoto is handling that situation for Yuri and her friends that it didn't really need to be mentioned. HOW Yuri got her personality problem was probably due to the culture shock of having to move back and forth between Japan and America (If you remember in the beginning of the story I mentioned that she lived in America but was also Japanese)... I know that seems ridiculous to have a problem like that cause an alter ego but trust me when you go to a completely different world than what you're used to then every little thing messes with your head.  So yeah! There's a little background. Anyway get ready for the next little arc in this story! You'll definately be surprised and wonder if Inui and Kaidoh's relationship will last and grow stronger! More updates soon! -loves on you all-)
