Science Fiction Short stories are.... fucking unbelievable. I had to use the curse to drive home what I am saying... just had to. The anthologies that Isaac asimov put together, of the hugo winning short stories... are some of the best Sci-fi stories I have ever read! WHy?! its so subtle, so brief, so perfect in the moment that it leaves me wanting MORE! I want it to be adapted to a novel so I can become familiar with it like a long lasting friendship, but that would ruin the flavor of the short story! The twists and turns are razor sharp, and are so abrupt that you are left in the wake wondering "I can't believe that happened!". Wow... just wow...
Today I begin an internship with Jordan as a Production Assistant. FINALLY I will be learning to work on a film. I may use this experience to throw some weight into my attempt at becoming an agent at one of the big talent agencies. Yes... you heard it directly from the man... Sunny Singh *MAY* join a talent agency. I would be like Loyd from entourage, but straight and indian. I have been reading a book on how this big name producer got started, and it began at a Talent Agency as an agent. I hear the work is fierce though, I had the opportunity to speak to 2 people who were former employees of some agencies of the Big 5 (now Big 4). More on that as it develops.
