Clasical Emphasis
1. demonstrate knowledge of major and harmonic minor scales.
2. demonstrate two distinct styles of solo playing.
a. lyric, melodic, and slow
b. fast and are more technical
3. demonstrate sight reading
Jazz Emphasis
1. demonstrate knowledge of major and harmonic minor scales
2. have experiance playing in the jazz style and demonstrate same
3. be able to improvise and do so if asked
4. be at an advanced jazz style
