Kosherfest!

I know you're all on shpielkes over Kosherfest.  It was awesome.  So, let me deliver a narrative.  I spoke with batya_d and she informed me that there were no strollers or even children allowed.  I would not be deterred.  I tossed Moo in the Ergo, put him to the Oobie, and it just so happened that we had a long way to walk from the subway to the ( Read more... )

These two sentences cracked me up. :) It sounds like you had a great time. I love cheese!

Also, I meant to tell you, a few posts ago I had to google "mikvah" because I wasn't sure what it was. (You know, not being Jewish and all...) :) Anyway, I ended up reading this and this. Wow. That about sums it up - I really can't describe how amazing and beautiful I found it all. I love reading about your life and learning about Judaism at the same time. :)

You really did an amazing job smuggling Moo-- bundled up in the carrier, you would have thought it was a little baby, def. not a year and a half! He curls up very niceley! I was also very impressed how well-behaved he was once he woke up. He really charmed everyone!

I'm still thinking about what I'm going to do with my pareve cheddar-- it was so yummy just on crackers, but it also seems like a great opportunity to make a cheesy meat dish... gears turning...
