*I just saw a link for an article, "How to wear summer shorts," Uh, one leg at a time? Honestly, I am biased against shorts on women. I stopped wearing them in high school because I just didn't like how they look. So now when summer rolls around I'm always like, "ugh, you'd look better in capris or a skirt." I mean, in general, you should probably not take much fashion advice from me (what do you mean your outfit doesn't have any sequins or glitter on it???), but if I can't be honest here...
*Speaking of fashion, I am itching for a new nail polish. I would like to put to the test the question, "How many shades of purple polish does one person need?" I just bought these Sally Hansen polish strips which are super cool because they go on very easily and require ZERO drying time, but the color selection is limited. Also, there is something soothing about applying nail polish. Well, to me at least.
*My mom and grandma are going to be here tomorrow through Shavuos, I already cooked so I could maximize my time with them. All I have left to do is the ice cream and baking. Rough life.
*Izzy is such a little chatter box, KAH. He repeats so much, especially noises. I didn't realize how much I make this flappy-lip horse noise when I'm thinking until he started doing it after me. Now that I hear him doing it I started analyzing the etymology of my weird noise and realize it started in middle school when I discovered that I had such big lips and since my social skills were still developing I thought it was super cool to figure out what kind of stupid interesting noises I could make. Things like this make it absolutely amazing to me that I still have retained several friendships from childhood.
*My book proposal is now in final draft stage. I'm rehearsing my interview with Jon Stewart in my head.
