[Caldwell House Estate]
Oh dear, it has been some time, hasn't it? :/ And some of you are still here! How optimistic of you.
Well, I figured some of you joined here because I posted my photos of Caldwell House all those years ago on abandonedplaces so I would give you an update!
I visited the house last year and it had been completely gutted and all the plants, weeds and trees covering the walls were gone. I was still hoping something would happen since there were construction signs, fences and machinery littered about. I have photos but I have no idea where XD Still, they weren't very interesting.
BUT I also visited it earlier today to get some photos and see what had happened to it. All signs of construction were gone (aside from a few signs), the boards had been ripped off the white building at the gate, the house where we heard dogs barking had been gutted, there were tyres blocking some entrances and bits of the road next to the house, all the pheasant feeders were knocked over, there were burnt areas of grass where piles of rubbish had been, the fire escape had been ripped down and the gate to the area with the chute was left open.
