Three more days until freedom
Technically it's not freedom, since I'll be ~working all summer, but there will be no deadlines, no need to write a million pages on mental illnesses, and no classes. Sounds very much like freedom to me. Just have to endure two days of presentations, doing one myself, and then a re-take of a failed exam. What will keep my mood up during that exam is that I'll be seeing fannyt and redorchids that night. I expect lots of fangirling ;)
As I've written before, I've been trying for quite awhile now to get a friend of mine into bandom, and she has now caved! \o/ .I feel like having gone from "Eww, Spencer" to "Why do you have a picture of my hot drummer on your phone" in a few months is an acomplishment, not to mention that she's really warming up to slash. What really pushed her over to actually read something was when I mentioned fannyts Imagine Knowing Me, the HP/Bandom crossover she did for bbb last year, and then hinted at there will be a few regency bbb this year. But since we've been writing our paper this past few weeks she didn't want any distarctions, so on Tuesday she getting the fic as a reward. She's gonna be so stuck in this fandom after that. I have no regrets over this, haha.
Also, Jon shouldn't be able to tweet. Or he should think twice before he actually presses that send button. Considering all the crap he's gotten in the past (yes, some well deserved)one would think that he wouldn't want the backlash that comes with that tweet. There really wasn't any point in posting it when all it did was either get people's hopes up, or make people sad because it won't happen. I did however enjoy Brendon and Ryan's tweets the other day. In general I like all the stuff that comes with the tour. There's basically new pics of Spencer every day to drool over ;) Sadly, still no good ones of him in shorts :(
