This is definitely going behind a cut. :) We took some really nice/fun photos in Little Cayman. Most of the credit goes to
mc_questionmark, he took some great shots!
We left for Little Cayman on May 2nd. It was a short half hour flight from hell! I love to fly, but this was not enjoyable at all! It was a small wobbly plane. We sat six or seven seats behind the cock pit. There was no door separating us from the cock pit. My window rattled as we took off and there was air coming in from the door which just happened to be beside us. :) Ear plugs probably would have been a good idea for this flight.
The island was filled with Iguanas, other lizards and lots of birds. I loved it!
mc_questionmark is chillin' out on the gigantic swing behind our villa.
We went for a walk along the beach the first evening and checked out all of the pretty views.
The island in the background is Owen island.
This is 'Booby pond'. It was dry and had no boobies. :) There were, however, lots of Booby birds in the trees surrounding it.
We were starved and the food was delicious! Mmmmm. I haven't had anything as yummy since then.
This is the view from behind our villa. It was beautiful!
mc_questionmark kept getting up with the sun and taking lovely pictures like this one.
The morning of May 3rd, we biked across the island to Bloody Bay.
mc_questionmark went snorkelling in Bloody Bay while I walked along the beach and breathed in the fresh air.
This is the scene that greeted me when I turned around to go back. A thunder storm was in the making. We finished biking around the end of the island in the pouring rain. It was actually lots of fun.
mc_questionmark almost ran into an iguana on his bike. They had a bit of a confrontation. :)
They were fighting.
mc_questionmark decided he should document the fight. He has at least 8 pictures of them and about 3 videos.
Chillin' out by the pool after our crazy morning.
Our villa(cabin).
My favorite picture, isn't he cute?
My happy place.
Vacations are for rediscovering your inner child... right?
Another
mc_questionmark photo.
mc_questionmark took this amazing shot as well.
Enjoying our porch with a view one last time.
I think we both thoroughly enjoyed Little Cayman. Hopefully there weren't too many pictures for you to look through. It was hard to decide which ones to post. We took around five hundred. :) You are definitely getting the shortened version.
There will be one more Cayman adventures post... someday.
