After some argument, I was assigned the letter C. Here is my list
New Order - Ceremony Written by Ian Curtis before he committed suicide, and released as New Order's first single. It's great, because it's still got that gloomy Joy Division feel, but with a poppy new sound.
Country Death Song - Violent Femmes Based on a true story. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be funny, but it sort of is.
Cherry-Coloured Funk - Cocteau Twins Actually a really mellow track, and not in the least bit funky. Still a great name for a song, though.
Crackity Jones - Pixies Was based on a roommate Frank Black had on a six-month trip to Puerto Rico. Apparently, he heard voices and ranted about Fred Flinstone. I get this song stuck in my head a lot.
Clumbsy - Veda Hille One of my favorite songs of all time.
