:D I feel it's about as rough as my day. Sometimes just saying dirty words and sexy phrases and focusing hard on a smutty, smutty scene of fun will totally just make up for hours and hours of focusing painfully on Classical epics and calculus in three dimensions.

I use condoms A LOT in the FFVII fandom. To prevent pregnancy in my het couplings and STI transmission in any coupling involving Rufus ShinRa. And to save anyone sleeping with a SOLDIER or Cloud from getting an orifice full of mako. And OH MY GOD. Cloud and Sephiroth and Genesis and Angeal are full of JENOVA. Which is transferrable through any ingested bodily substance.

Which clearly means that I'm going a little AU with this fic. Because the character I have be the most stickler about condoms is definitely Lazard--experienced gay man having sex with chemically enhanced super soldier who is 1/3 horrible space virus. Uhmmm... I would bet if he was tapping that he was tapping that through a thin layer or latex and then when Hollander was all "So you're banging a mutant alien freak" he was like "OH THANK GOD I USE CONDOMS RELIGIOUSLY."

But that said. I've written that "Oh god, it's running down my leg!" moment in other fics--especially in Trigun, where one character was often very humiliated-slash-aroused by the sensation. I will probably use it again. I try to do realism and that sensation plays into a lot of character psyches reeeeeeeally interestingly. :D

Character I most imagine would be kind of like "Ew! What was that--oh my god?!" about the whole thing would be Cloud. And it would be fun and adorable.
