Yes. Obama is in fact our new president. And he is part African American, which distinguishes him from the marshmallow assembly line prior to today.
Remember, though. He is not black. He is half-black.
He is also HALF-WHITE. Thus by the same reasoning you could call him WHITE, though no one would because it is so much cooler to have a black president.
Today IS historic. But Barack Obama is of mixed blood. Why is it necessary to ignore one half of his ancestry?
