Ink curling onto the page

Lately I've been making a lot of posts in a very short period of time. Possibly because I have little to say so I must stretch it out as much as possible? Hmmm.

Against all odds I've been quite cheerful this past week, possibly because I got to see all of you (minus Crystal *frowns mightily*) and that always tends to buoy my mood for quite some time. It also helps in getting myself out of bad moods.

I finished FMA... so I don't know what I'm going to start marathon-ing next. Possibly Bleach? I hope it's worth it.

I actually don't really have any really awesome teachers this year (I know, it's a bit late for this kinda post) other than my dorky science teacher... Here, let me give you a quote from his "FAQ" section on the syllabus.

Q: Is it true you went to college with Napoleon Dynamite?

A: Yes. I (as well as 30,000 other students) went to college with Jon Heder, the actor who played Napoleon Dynamite. I met him once. I never stole his Tots.

Awesome, yes?

Otherwise, though, my teachers for this year seem to be capable (unlike last year, and I'm looking at you, chemistry and AP history) but uninteresting, which was not generally the case last year. However, I've been enjoying Physics and my two choir classes! German isn't too bad either, but if next year I can't do AP German AND Madrigals, I'm quitting German, I don't care what my dad says or whether it looks better on my college apps. I'll have sent them all out by that time, anyway.

Hmm... Creative writing seems to have stagnated for right now, though perhaps when I have some more time on my hands I'll do something.

SPEAKING of which, an unnerving thing happened in English the other day. The teacher handed out a sheet with one of those essay triangles on it, the ones explaining how to write theses and all that jazz? Well, she asked us,

"Who's seen one of these before?"

Hands raise, mine included.

"Who thinks they can do one?"

Some hands go down. Mine remains up. I'm good at writing essays, I know it.

"Who thinks they can do one well?"

Shrug, put up hand.

"Ah yes, Ms. [last year's English teacher] told me about you."

Whaaaat?

"Um, me in particular, or... the whole class?"

"You in particular."

...That bodes ill...

The entire rest of the class I spent wondering what exactly my teacher had said about me.

wtf, random, epic win, zomg nerd
