Hmmm... I'd rather be reading manga. Unless it's moving as slowly as Berserk.
So, random update...
I'm downloading some music off Limewire... I like to use Limewire a lot because if I don't particularly enjoy a CD I download, it's not a waste of money. Like Charlotte Sometimes. I really liked the one song that kept playing on VH1, "How I Could Just Kill a Man" but I didn't care for anything else on her album. Very disappointing.
As I said earlier, I finished Rurouni Kenshin. It's really quite wonderful; I actually thought it would end at the Kyoto Arc (which in my mind is still called the Shishio arc) because I didn't think there was really any way to follow Shishio Makoto and the Juppon Gatana with any kind of justice. There were some great characters in the arc. However, the following Enishi arc (I don't know what it's fanonly called) is worth it for the Kenshin backstory and the random crazy that Enishi has going on... However, his minions aren't terribly memorable.
I love Ruroken because it's such an overdramatic shounen-romance but it still manages to transcend that into something that, while reading it, I don't laugh at. Afterwards, maybe not... XD Anyway, it's also a lot shorter than I remember it being. P.S. Kenshin/Tome = hawt.
Catching up on Naruto, since I can barely keep myself reading it anymore at the pacing and the direction it's going... I love how the eight-tailed beast is all gangsta. He's obviously much more interesting than Sasuke's mellowness. Perhaps he can take Sasuke's place, ne?
I'm sorry. I just slipped into fangirl Japanese, a bit.
I really do need to catch up on Fullmetal Alchemist. I keep trying, and never do it... Possibly because it's been so long since I read the manga that jumping randomly in wasn't working. I'd devote some time to it, but I'm a bit afraid to start marathoning another manga because my mother was getting quite vexed with me for neglecting my summer assignment. I was planning the entire time to start when I finished Ruroken, I promised, and I did work on it.
I'm very depressed that I can't get into Trigun, for some reason... because from everything I've heard about it, it SOUNDS like something I'd be interested in. And yet, whenever I try to read it, I just go "blaah..." and lose interest. Very shameful.
If I had more time, I would also finish Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. And catch up with Code Geass. And watch more than the first episode of Tower of Druaga. AND fill in the gaps between Doctor Who episodes. But guard is very time-absorbing... Hmph.
I want more Amatsuki to come out on onemanga... I simply can't figure out how to download it. Once when I tried to download a chapter, it wouldn't work. I was rather irked. I need the ultimate awesome of Amatsuki to distract me from missing Ruroken.
