I am a rabid atheist.

This puts me in one of the most distrusted minorities out there. I am among the group you are least likely to be ok with your daughter to marrying. I am also in the group that thinks its ok for people to marry whoever they want. I am in the group that thinks its wrong to allow cells to die when they could be used to heal

I wasn't trying to prove my rabidity. We discussed some of this but I will reiterate. I doesn't mater how you feel about religion Atheist are the most distrusted group in our country. Without a doubt I agree religion is a super diverse group as Arcadia stated it can be difficult to define exactly what religion is. The problem is a lot of people think the free thinking religious people are a large portion of the group as a whole. When you look at surveys and elections you find intolerance is by far the majority opinion.

Like I said to you before I don't like spirituality but it is acceptable to me. The vileness stems from religion and faith. If you want to believe in magic fine, but I want that belief to have nothing to do with decisions that effect my life, diversity is not the key when the diversity includes the great spaghetti monster. Any statement I make saying religion should be outlawed should be laughed at, obviously that can't happen and would be retarded to attempt, its just my way of saying how bad religion really is for our country as a whole.
