I like the cover, despite being not being aesthetically pleasing. It really plays up the "white trash" aspect, and there's something amusing (depending on your sense of humor) about watching a zombie taking a crap. :)
Hah, it really does play up the white trash thing. I don't have a particularly sophisticated sense of humour, but the cover still made me think "ew", haha. I see the humour in it though, even if I don't share it. It does totally fit too, but I was still hoping for something more in the vein of the first one, only because I love that cover so much.
This hasn't gone up yet, but I have written the cover commentary for my review, and I think the nature of the second cover matches more what we get in the pages of the first. The first is super-girly and makes you think you're getting a humorous tale, which you really aren't. Well, at least not THAT kind of humor (playful, girly).
Yeah, I was totally expecting funny fun-times with the first book (because of the cover), but instead Rowland was like "HERE HAVE SOME FEELS!!" And the character on the cover looks nothing like how I imagine Angel to look either. But it's still so pretty. <3
