From cradle to tomb...

Jan 31, 2006 12:40

It's my half birthday today. I am officially in between being 22 and 24 today, which means that tomorrow I am one step closer to 24 ergo one step closer to death...and that's ok because I'm going to Bungalow 8 tonight to celebrate.

I have two new ideas for plays and now an excellent computer to write them on.

Back into running and loving that.

Caitlin burned me a copy of her beta band cd and that's very cool too.

Beyonce has the number 1 song in America, so that feels right, especially since I foreshadowed its success back in November.

All in all I got nothin to complain about...except that Coretta Scott King stole my thunder, like she always does, and died today. I feel more at peace with this though than with Wendy. I get the sense that Coretta's contributions to the greater welfare of the world far exceeded the expectations of any 5 people, and so it's time for her to rest now, having lead a remarkable life in civil services and love. Wendy was ripped from us too soon. One great loss. One tragedy. Both will be missed.

I love award season but the predictability bugs me to no end. I have been told that Reese Witherspoon is magnificent though, so I need to see "Walk the Line" because I can't picture her being anything else than cute and extremely annoying on screen.
