so i was just perusing my college's website, and i saw that there was a photo album up from the hurricane vigil that was held a few nights ago. i started looking through the pictures, and as i did so, i immediately noticed two things.
1. isn't a vigil an awkward event to photograph in the first place? it's all pictures of people sobbing, singing, and throwing singles into buckets. it seems to me that it's kind of...self-conscious to take pictures of it and then publish them on the internet. like, look! look! we're philanthropic too, and you can order high-quality prints of our goodwill by clicking here! anyway.
2. kaitlin hates me.
LOOK AT THAT DIRTY FILTHY LOOK SHE'S SHOOTING ME!!
AT A VIGIL!!
omg. i sure am glad that awkward and unnecessary photographer caught this hostility-filled moment,
since i was clearly occupied blowing out my prayer candle and such. lord. i'm glad i didn't turn my back.
