i play records too too loud and stay up too too late watching movies in the dark. the other night i baked cocoa cookies with a spoon in one hand and a paperback copy of macbeth in the other, yelling the lines in my best scottish brogue. nicole, angelina and i went out on a weeknight, drank way too much and smoked way too much. i sleep in. my flowers are all blooming and just outside my front door, three baby robins hatched the day i moved in. i check on them every day and today, they have tiny wing-feathers.

i'm happy.
