Yes. I saw a few growing not far from the river and wanted to see how it would do otherwise. With the shortage of true fresh food around here, I thought it was a worthwhile experiment.

I was worried about that at first, but it seems native to the area so it has been doing fine without it. I have been fortunate enough to have a flowerbed - however unstable - so it has been outside frequently.

I suppose we will have to wait and see if the vegetable it's sprouted is edible or not, then the effort would really be worthwhile.

Yes, hopefully soon. I am not sure how these plants will take the weather if we do, indeed, have a winter down here.
