For fun - handwriting analysis

Feb 17, 2005 23:06

This handwriting test states I'm an "ambivert". This is a cross between an extrovert and an introvert. I can go either way, but it really depends on the situation. I tend to be an introvert ( Read more... )

Wow. That was unnervingly accurate. I got "ambivert" too. According to Myers-Briggs, I am slightly more introverted than extroverted. I feel more extroverted around small groups and large groups intimidate me especially if I don't know the people. I derive most of my energy by being by myself. But anway...I found it unbelievably crazy that this popped up in my analysis - "Jenna will be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes she will be happy, the next day she might be sad" considering I am bipolar. Weird. I'm interested in learning the science behind handwriting analysis.

Yes, the analysis was fairly accurate for me as well as for some of my friends. Hope you had fun with it!

That's odd. It didn't tell me that I'm INTJ or INTP. The result
contains no MBTI information about a person.

It doesn't give you MB type information.

Me too. I had beautiful handwriting throughout high school, but the amount of note-taking during college made it really small and illegible. These days, I type far more than write, and on the very rare occasions when I do have to use those primitive stick-like "writing implements", I print.

From the FAQ:

Q10: What about people who print?
A: It is a generality, but worth answering. People who print have put up a barrier to keep the world from getting to know them. They do not easily express their inner-most feelings. People who print take longer to experience intimacy and tend to have a strong external protective mental shell that is often seen as confidence.

Oh, that's frighteningly accurate, too! I don't ever write cursive unless pressed to, mostly because mine is and always has been illegible unless I go slowly.

I type a lot faster than I can write, anyway.

Bull****.

Some of the analysis was accurate, and some was way off. I think the fact that I'm left handed and I haven't written in cursive since elementary school may have thrown off the results.

Apparently I'm prone to make harsh, bitter sarcastic comments - but that's all right 'cos dimplomacy is one of my best attributes.

*grin* Not entirely convinced of the intrinsic merit of that test.
