Another INFJ post - I am too curious for your feedback (intuitive communication)

NF who is once again curious for your NT perspective. Here is a post which I copy-pasted from the INFJ comm:

Intuitive communication
Do you guys ever think that intuition, although very helpful, can at the same time lead to some major miscommunication? Especially if you are communicating with another intuitive?

I've learned to make sure I am aware of my motives, and I've learned to make sure that my motives are well-conveyed. I've learned to not be afraid to try to clearly verbalize what I think, what I feel, my opinions, my motives, and my concerns. To verbalize these things I realize, doesn't make me any less likeable as a friend or significant other or daughter or friend or something along those lines. I really think it's worked for me.

Why would we assume that we are more likeable if the loved ones around us had to telepathically figure us out? I have no idea what the psychology behind that is: maybe it's a subconscious guard, or maybe humans can have a bad habit of idealizing their loved ones (humans are more quick to want to be understood.. rather than be the one who is understanding).

I honestly think that miscommunication comes about only when an intuitive tries to squeeze in some indirect or manipulative or hidden motive of some kind. It's like a fear-based control attempt, maybe.

A specific example regarding myself, I used to be always paranoid about what others thought of me as a person. I would try to influence what others thought of me or compulsively figure it out, which I soon learned was really codependency. I learned to be myself, and realize it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of me.

I'm sure there are numerous, numerous examples or what I'm trying to get at in this post. Like the communication between two intuitives who have first been introduced, the communication between an intuitive husband and wife, the communication between two intuitive friends who were debating about something *shrug*.

I now like to think that communication can be wonderfully enhanced by intuition, but should never be based off of it.

I am just speculating. What do you guys think?

What are your thoughts??
