Someone on my friends list posted this link today. It's a program that downloads your journal (nice to have a backup what with their little blackout the other day)...however in addition to the simple archive feature, it's got some really cool plugins.
The RIA plugin does a word analysis of your journal against the general population. For instance, one of my top topics is "abstraction", wherein I'm in the 94.5th percentile against everyone, and 92.7th against my age group.
In terms of emotions, 59% positive affect, 91% anxiety, 65% sadness, 68% affection, 21% aggression, and 57% expressive behavior.
I scored highest in the secondary category (talking about abstraction and social stuff), followed by the primary (id stuff) with emotions last.
My "defensive symbolism" was at 20%.
It shows a lot more but those are the ones I thought were more interesting in terms of this community..I thought it might be interesting to see if a general pattern develops all of us in the community. So if you choose to check the program out, report back and tell us how your journal relates!
