From sad to angry

So most of the active duty military from Keesler AFB in Biloxi (which was decimated) is in NJ training to go to Iraq, leaving their spouses to rebuild alone. And did you read that President Bush cut the funding for flood relief and prevention in New Orleans to pay for Iraq?

I have never seen anyone more efficient at causing the slaughter of Americans than our president; taking away money to save lives in order to spend lives elsewhere was sheer brilliance. Bush makes Osama Bin Laden look like an amateur when it comes to killing Americans. Why doesn't he just order us all into single-file so we can all get shot in the head, one by one?

Fantastic.

Best quote from one of the articles: The president told us that we needed to fight in Iraq to save lives here at home, and yet -- after moving billions of domestic dollars to the Persian Gulf -- there are bodies floating through the streets of Louisiana. What does George W. Bush have to say for himself now?

UPDATE: according to a number-cruncher, the amount of money diverted from the safety of New Orleans funded the war for 56 hours. Was it worth it, I wonder?
