Tommorow morning dawns the maiden voyage of the Endgame rehearsal process. I couldn't be more excited about it than i am right now. I love the feeling of molding a bunch of jumbled words we call a script into a work of art. That is what directing is. I love it. Don't get me wrong, Acting is fantastic. I love it just as much as directing. Only in directing, there is a certain feeling with it that you don't get with Acting. A sensation of having the privelage to present a production to an audience, with your own little special touch.
Tonight was great. It's nice to just be able to go to a movie store, rent a movie, and watch it with someone you love. Sometimes it's a mystery: Not knowing if the other person is enjoying the movie or what they think of the movie. Pretty soon it's not even about the movie anymore. It's about that person you're watching it with. And when I think about this...it makes me smile.
