Omg. YES!! i need as many friends as i can get on LJ! And I see you did that drawing in your icon. Most of my closest friends have been artists. haha.

Oh no, I didn't do that drawing at all! However, I could possibly claim to be an artist. I was studying art and design and as one of our exercises we had to paint a portrait that wasn't a straight portrait, of someone else in the class.
One of the girls drew that one of me, and I loved it so much she gave it to me :-)

Oh well, That makes us more alike then. At least you have an aesthetic sense. Thats all that matters. My best friend takes art, and she doesn't think shes good enough when i think she is amazing. But shes taking studio art right now so it kinda sucksss.

hell yeah, definitely an asthetic sense. And very creative. Like isn't the point of being alive creating things? *grins*

I just got a job at the museum a couple of afternoons a week doing graphic design - and editing to make sure the written content isn't dry and academic but appealing and easy to read - and realised I needed some new work clothes and a tote bag. I have spent the last three days quietly sewing away. "Hmm, have I got that neckline just right?" "That braiding, is it better along the top, or just the edges?" "Oh look, those to fabrics look great together. How can I exploit that?"

Wot's "studio art" that your friend is doing?

I always wished i could do graphic design!! I can't even use photoshop. That seems really cool, I'd want to work in a museum. Perfect location, cuz' they're usually in huge cities, so if you get bored. SNEAK OUT. hahah.

Studio Art is making sculptures out of wire, clay, etc... its like 3D-Art.

I worked in the National Dinosaur Museum in Canberra a few years ago, it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to this one.

Graphic Design was good to study :-) Opened up a lot of employment options too.

We did 3D art in our art and design course and I loved it. But we got pretty free reign with it. I made a kookaburra :-) But I have to say I have never bothered to do it since!

Her strength was painting, and colors. I don't know why she would do 3D.. Wow. I bet it widened your employment options!!! Being good with Computer designing is a staple in a lot of jobs. How old are you???

I'll try to get something out of her, but she NEVER admits she hates it. i think that's just because she doesn't want to admit i was right and she never should've wasted her time.
