"Ubiquitous Fiction"
You can try to jump over a puddle of water,
yes, but if you jump too short, your socks get wet.
Your socks have to be dry in order to live a happy life.
But if you are one who does not wear socks,
you have nothing to worry about; Life is amazing.
Listening to neighbors fighting is not healthy.
Ignore the sound of glass breaking,
vocal cords vibrating as violently as an earthquake,
and the occasional gun shot.
You weren't supposed to hear that; No one was.
A person who is a selectively reclusive martyr is dead.
A person who is a mourning widow no longer has a husband.
Get the mail, clip out coupons, and paste them in an orderly fashion
on a giant piece of black construction paper that is .08 of an inch thick
to create the face of the martyr and widow; It's like a reflection.
Ubiquitous fiction.
Everyone knows
That this is all
Bull shit;
Except for lines eleven and twelve.
