"Untitled"

From a high hill overlooking the valley
we watched as the sun devoured the clouds,
spilling out onto the hopeless trees,
consuming two for every second that passed,
crossing the street so joyously
like a child on the last day of school.

And in that moment we stopped to ask each other:
How could something so peacefully calm be so destructive?

We were answered by this song:

Wake from your sleep,
the drying of your tears,
Today we escape, we escape.

Pack and get dressed
before your father hears us,
before all hell breaks loose.

Breathe, keep breathing,
don't lose your nerve.
Breathe, keep breathing,
I can't do this alone.

Sing us a song,
a song to keep us warm,
there's such a chill, such a chill.

And you can laugh a spineless laugh,
we hope your rules and wisdom choke you.

And now we are one
in everlasting peace,

we hope that you choke, that you choke,
we hope that you choke, that you choke,
we hope that you choke, that you choke.

With that.... and knowing that the sun knows all your secrets, we can finally get an honest answer:

We're all theives.
