She never spoke a word of the claws that lived inside her head.  And in her silence she wondered if other girls had fallen asleep in the lions den.  Without her warning to heed there was no signs to shed light to unsuspected prey.   Her forgotten silver necklace still dangled from above the dirty bed.  The only other thing knowing that he had been where he shouldn't have been was that shiny cheap trophy he pulled up over her head.  But when she saw it hanging from another small neck all silver turned to lead and red had turned to black.  Her heart sunk like a rock to the deepest of depths she quivered with guilt but then turned her back.
