[Sounds bone weary exhausted]

Giselle, can you fix a leather coat?

Flute, we should talk when you get a chance.

Looks like I'm on mandatory bed rest, anyone want to try some Dungeons and Dragons so I don't go insane with boredom?

tired wizard is tired

I don't know, do you really want to deal with THACO?

I could go for so many tacos, you don't even know.

If only THACO was as delicious as a taco, maybe people would actually like it.

So how many comments did it take before you realized I had no idea what I was talking about? Just one?

Now now, you were doing fine with the first comment. That was an excellent impersonation of a Second Edition fanboy. You lost me when you suggested a overly complicated rule about hitting monsters was, in fact, a tasty Mexican food.

Of course. Mexican food. My constant nemesis. My backup plan was to say it's just the right amount of Es. Three is too many, but one isn't enough.

I've never even rolled up a character before. I think I'd be bad at it.

Mexican food has been the downfall of many a fancy dinner date.

The beauty of D&D is that being bad at it actually makes it more entertaining.

I'll take your word for it.

I'd probably just end up making a character that's exactly like me, and nobody wants that. Self-inserts are for losers.

Well, I'm taking others words for that as well. I can count the number of fancy dinner dates I've been on on one hand.

Actually, unlike fanfiction and other online activities, self inserts are totally fine in D&D, though I tend to try to avoid sticking too close to my own life. I like escapism.

I can count them on a stump. (Because the number is zero.)

That's encouraging, I guess. I'm just not all that good at pretending.

You're not missing much.

Well, practice makes perfect.

I'd rather sit in with McD's and a bad movie than get all dressed up and eat parts of animals that nobody normally eats but since they're in French it's okay.

I'll think about it. One of my friends is a huge geek. He might want to show up, and if he's there, I'll at least watch. Not that I'm calling you a geek.
