so i'm at the airport, it's wednesday, i've got to leave for my one o'clock class by twelve thiry, and it's a great day out. there was even a chilly morning this morning. felt good to jog in some shorts and a jacket. i've got lab today, but it won't be so bad. turns out that mousepad i was going to make with the heat transfer press for screenprinting isn't going to work out, since our mousepads are all old and come apart when you heat them up. the flowery poster i was going to use as my first offset project got trashed, because i decided against doing it since the size and amount of ink coverage would have probably led to lots of press problems that i don't want to deal with, plus it was a four color job, and that would've taken twice as long, and i'd have to find a two-day window of opportunity to run all four colors without having someone else jump on the press in between and change the setup. so i'm running something else for my first offset project. i was going to make two-color christmas cards for my parents, but they weren't close-register enough, and they were kind of ugly. once i actually print something i'll let you guys in on what it is. hopefully i'll have lots and will be able to send them to whoever wants them. i may still scan that article from 1914, but it's only if i have it with me when i'm at the graphics building, since that's the only place i have access to a scanner. i've got a few research papers and projects due around the thanksgiving break, so i may be a little scarce as far as internet is concerned. though i'll probably have my face melted into a computer screen, i may not have time to keep up with messages and comments and updates and the like. you all understand.
and yeah, this is actually a real post! believe it!
