That is what I am a gemini......its funny to randomly read this because this probably one of only 3 times in my life I have seen a horoscope. It's also funny because I am going to Pittsburgh for New Years tomorrow. It will be a blast. I get to see Billy Charles who I havent seen since I went on the Student Travel Services trip (STS) with Mathias Allison in Fall of 2007. We visited Marshall for that trip and stayed in a shitty 2 story hotel. Red Roof Inn? Great night.....the three of us went to Golden Corral all you can eat, had some laughs and then went back to Billy's cornerside apartment and drank most of the night away and had some more laughs. I bought a 12 pack holiday pack of Sam Adams that night.
Anyway I am off to Pittsburgh tomorrow with Kerry Bell, Elliot Sally, Roy Caswell and Dave Waller. Should be a great trip....I'm driving and boy do I hate driving long distances. A few hours ago on the 30th I went out to TGI fridays with Kerry Bell and Derek Michaloski. We had a few drinks and tried to help Kerry struggle through a text battle with his current girlfriend Emily. I'm not a fan of this sterotypical sorority girl from UMD. Is it because she poses a threat to take one of my best friends in the world away or is she really just that annoying? Time will tell...he is torn and Derek think he is gonna ditch on us going to pittsburgh but I think Kerry will stay true to his word.
So the plan is for Dave Waller to pick up the ever elusive Roy and take him to the house in Carney and for Elliot to meet up with us here. After we asemble go pick up Kerry after he leaves his cubical based engineering job. Eh lets just see how it pans out.
So the events of my day was going to the bank and paying off a late credit card payment. Great start huh? Then I clean out my car in the bank parking lot. I head to a tanning place, its been 2 months since I have tanned so why not do so before I head to another city. I may have a chance to make a great impression on a few ladies hah. I get there and pay $5 then I go to the tanning bed and after making the mistake of turning the face lights off, 30 seconds after the second with the bed the bed read ERR meaning error.....great so I get dressed again for the second time and the guy takes me to a different bed. Its an intense one and I go for 10 mins because it felt like a microwave. Anyway I leave there and head to Maria's, an old pizza shop near the old Highs in Carney. Get a Greek salad with chicken as Derek advised. I ate and as I was getting done Derek comes in randomly just as he did a day before when we ate at the pizza shop connected to Highs. We talked but I felt a little burnt from the smoking the night before so I didnt say anything useful. But oh well thats how we are, a lot of small talk. I leave there and head to Bel Air to Loonies where Dave Waller, Christ Petrush, Speedo and Justin Downs are. More small talk with them, mostly about the UMD football game, the oak summit house and new years. I leave and drop Dave off back at his house off of Thomas Run. We call Kerry to convince him to stick with the plan and come to Pittsburgh. I feel when Dave and I are combined in conversation we are pretty convincing. We throw out some good points and then I leave. Then I stop by my dads house near Harford Community College. He is building cabinets for his wife along with her son Brian.....it seemed to me he wasnt thrilled in doing so. It was good to see him even though we still don't have much to talk about with each other. We always seem so nervous around each other. Stopped by my parents house and picked up a $500 check from my grandfather....its the beginning of the money he owes me for fixing up Oak Summit. He gave me a Pork Loin that he bought which I will have to pay him the $5.12 back. He is fair he says. Said my good byes to my sister mom and other dad. I then head over to the apartments across the street in hopes of finding Roy....I get to Duckies apartment and as I thought Roy was there with Duckie and Deck playing video games (Need for Speed) and as Roy says for the past 7 hours.....maybe that is why he didnt answer his phone for all the times I called him that day. I head out of there and head to Gram and Poppys house in Fallston. I pick up the skis which are my dads....a perfect matching 10.5 shoe size and have some small talk with Gram and poppy. I leave and head to meet up with Kerry for a late dinner....its 10:20 and I promised 10:30....story of my life being late for things. I pick up Derek on the way and then pick up Kerry to go to TGI fridays. We get there a little before 11 and get some food. As I said at the top of this blog it was a text battle for Kerry. In the meantime while we are having a few beers I see a hott blonde and Brooke the Latina from John Carrol who I made out with once upon a drunken night in Towson. We went over and talked after we ate and they were cool to talk to until Brooke mentioned how she hangs out with the Baltimore Ravens and Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps. She also said she was talking to one of the Ravens....last thing I want to do is get an NFL football player mad. Eh but she did say that night she would bang me and gave me 2 kisses on the cheek. I felt the blonde girl was feeling me also. Eh who knows, more small talk for me Derek and Kerry. I drop Kerry back off being reassured he will make the pittsburgh trip. Me and Derek go back and hang out at Fridays...the girls are gone but Derek talks to a black dude that works at the Cheesecake Factory with him. He seemed cool and energetic especially for a 36 year old. Anyways we leave and go back to Oak Summit, I pop a load of laundry in and check facebook and myspace and here I am. Good night, the morning calls for an intense trip to Pittsburgh!
