my new favorite
During the conference, at the Spirit and Song bonanza (also known as "Not Your Mother's Church Music") we got to hear a ton of artists we already knew. But we also got to hear from someone new. And I honestly think she's going to go places. I love her voice, and she's one of the most joyful people you'll ever meet. Kelly and I got a chance to chat with her a few times, and honestly we really just like saying her name: Jackie Francois. She most certainly held her own, and represented for the females as she was the lone lady on stage with a herd of talented men.
I'm actually pretty bummed she doesn't have a cd out yet, because I really loved the song she sang at the showcase which was called "My Soul Rejoices." I think you'll find the words pretty familiar ;) You can check her out here: Jackie Francois.
