busy but good!
Life is good! Ok, so the toe still hurts a little bit but what can you do? That will teach me to watch my step a little bit more carefully I suppose. I just wanted to update on that since I know you've all been thinking: "Sure, she'll rant about ungrateful people for several paragraphs, but the girl can't tell us how her toe is doing!!!"
So, remember how I moved in August? After less than a year in Alexandria, I'm moving again!! I am moving to Falls Church into the cutest house. I'll be with five other gals who are all pretty fantastic, and I'll be a smidge closer to work. These are both happy things!! It's been a long time since I've had roommates, so I am sure that will be both exciting and challenging . But I think mostly exciting! Now, this means I need to be packed up before WorkCamp, so June will be a tad crazy for me. I'm very glad our house hunting is over, and think Meg is fantastic for undertaking the craziness of it all. I'll finish the house talk with two words: Florida Room.
This weekend is jam packed! I have a lunch with youth/campus ministers shortly, then a little birthday celebrating with Meg, then back here for JCYO (my second to last one before Eric starts -- that's so weird after five years!). When I get home, I have some prep work to do for Nicole's shower tomorrow. Michelle, David, and Lexie will be at the house tonight which is always fun. Tomorrow morning I get up and head to The Club (aka Costco) to pick up THE chocolate cake for Nicole's shower (if you've been to The Club you know exactly which cake I speak of), then off to decorate for the shower! We're having it at her house which is nice. After an afternoon of celebrating my sister and nephew on the way, I'll head up here to work to celebrate Fr. Lange's ordination anniversary at a nice dinner. Sunday we've got Mothers Day stuff all day long. I'm definitely looking forward to it. So, it's a busy weekend but full of really spectacular stuff!
I can't believe none of you (that I've seen -- although Bloglines is not updating me very well these days) have posted this yet. You think I've got moves on the dance floor? Well, this guy puts me to shame: the Evolution of Dance.
