Phew..
Was pretty tired all day today. Katie woke me up around 9 so that we could work on her room and drive into Boston to check out Emerson. Hung a single curtain bracket (hanging them all and getting the curtains up is going to be a pain in the ass) and then drove out to Boston. Neither of us had any money so we were starving and on low fuel when we realized we couldn't afford to park the car. I wound up driving around licenseless in Boston while Katie ran into the admissions building to talk to a counsoler. Meeting went alright, but they were talking about having her commit to the school full-time while she would prefer to just take a few classes there.
After leaving the city we limped to Hess, payed for gas by overdrawing my credit card and Katie took over driving while my mind buzzed out and I layed down in semi-sleep. Drove to Kate's parents place which is looking unbelievable and got fronted some cash by her parents (we're dogsitting this weekend for them) and then took Kate to work.
I wanted to nap but I couldn't. Listened to some Floyd on the surround sound (which I am doing again now whilst writing this). Got my clothes together and left early for work so as to go to Taco Bell. Worked 4-11:15 without a break during what became a pretty busy night due to the local schools being out the next few days for Rosh Hoshana. The new kid Xavier was training and totally not on the ball, I hope he cuts it. It was partly my fault because we were so busy that I couldn't really train him, but he seemed to lack any desire to learn or work hard to keep up. Whatever, I doubt he makes it, I'll be out of there soon anyways.
So the days almost done now, I'm watching the interview with the director of 'Live in Pompeii', waiting for Kate's laundry to finish. Going to go back to her place now to hang the curtains and head to bed.
