To be honest, I forgot this was here. Then I was checking people's profiles and saw Ian's link (where has he been? Miss you buddy!) to his journal. I've gone back and reread most of what I've written and I really enjoyed that experience. I miss keeping track of what I'm up to in life, since my last update I've gone through a great deal that I could have benefited from writing down:
--I got expelled from Framingham State College, enrolled at MassBay Community College, studied for two years and made my Associate's Degree in the Liberal Arts.
--I moved into the legendary South Natick House, lived there for what will remain one of the greatest years of my life no matter what happens and met tons of great friends that will last a lifetime.
--I met a terrific, wonderful and sweet girl in Miss Katharine Ann Lieberman Daly, who I first met around the time that I wrote my previous entry. After a rocky summer in 2005, we made things official in the autumn and have been enjoyed one another's love since.
--I have moved to a home on the Natick Common where for one year Katie and I, along with Sheree and Kyle have lived. Now Katie is getting her own place with Tori (another terrific person who has entered my life) on Iriving Street in Framingham three doors down from Steve and Amanda (one of my favorite couples in the world) and none other than Ms. Kathleen Jacobson is moving in.
--I've had the pleasure of welcoming into the world Miss Elenor Jane Paul (and I hope I'm spelling her first name correctly there), the lovely daughter of Alicia Ward and Jeff Paul, two more wonderful people that I have met since I have last posted and another of my favorite couples in the world. I must also make mention here of Miss Amina Adhami, who I met at MassBay independent of Jeff (through Waldenbooks) and Alicia (through Jeff) and who is close friends with Jeff and Alicia. We all get along great, small world.
--On the work front Waldenbooks sadly closed in January of 2007, leaving no bookstore in the Natick "Collection" (the new addition being due to open tomorrow). I am currently working at the fountain in Friendly's, a fun job that leaves a lot to be desired. I know its time for a new job, but...
--I've lost my license on two separate instances this summer, for seven surchargable events twice and for allowing an unlicensed driver. Not to deny my accountability for this, but at no point have a felt that the punishment was necessary or even fit the crime. If I felt I deserved this I would say so, but its really just been a big hassle. I get my license back September 23, at which point the job search will be in full swing.
That is, in a matter of words, what I have been up to these past two and a half years. In the next upcoming weeks I will be reclaiming my room as Kathleen moves her things out of it, helping Kate get her new place in order and helping myself with my own life, reclaiming my car and hunting for new and better work. Any one and every one of my friends who reads this should mention that fact so I have an idea of who is still around this place.
