This is a lovely short. It really puts her position in perspective, and I'm happy to see the inclusion of auras and that she was choosing what she believed to be the lesser of two bad outcomes. Thanks for writing and sharing this! ♥

Thank you! :) A couple of people on deviantART and FF.net commented about the inclusion of auras too. I haven't read a lot of Ty Lee centric fics, but is her ability to see auras usually forgotten or something? Or is it just a nice touch that people appreciate? I'm a little confused on that. ^_~

Well, for me personally, I've never seen it pop up in fic before. I haven't read every Ty Lee fic out there, of course - not even close - but in the ones I have read, I've never seen it mentioned, so I'd say it's a little bit of both!

None of them? Weird. Although, now that I think of it, I can't really remember it coming up in most of the fics I've read either--and usually the stories it comes up in aren't from Ty Lee's perspective either. Huh. I can't believe I never noticed that before.

Personally, I've only written a few Ty Lee drabbles, including one that sort of covers what you said here, except different... Anyway! I've only included auras once. :P And I've only seen a few other fics include them.

But then few people wax poetic on the subject of Ty Lee anyway. XD

OMG, icons, yes! (I like yours, by the way. XD) If you're looking for more Ty Lee icons, vaderetro has some good ones. That's where I got the two I have from. :) Unfortunately, you have to look for them, but their good.
