i feel inspired...
hi everyone, everyone being whoever chooses to read this on a whim, it was a whim anyway for me to update but listening to train has suddenly made me feel oddly motivated. so have i had a life this summer?? well not really, but its been good, and relaxing which is allllllllllllllll i need for now anyways.
well, my "tennis camp" in quotes cuz its only 4 hours a day 4 days a week so its not like a huge commitment, but its been fun i've been like 3-0 or 4-0 or something in my matches and ive been 2nd singles for the most part (yup there are ppl who can kick my ass), but its been going well, i may or may not do one more week of it, ive done 3 weeks of it up until this point.
the days have certaintly felt longer, and it was great because a couple of days ago i didn't even know what day it was which is a really good sign. um i was a little desperate in the beginning of july however, from like the 3rd to the 13th i didn't have internet which kinda sucked... i got my weekly fix when i went to scott's house once or twice though, and talking to fucking indian people from verizon wireless isn't the greatest investment of one's own time, but it was for a necessary cause. apparently animals had bitten our wires outside which was just like ......
ive done some of the summer work read physics of superheroes (which i detested), read wild swans, and im probably gonna do some spanish honors crap this weekend, you might be saying, well you probably will be saying who the hell does summer work in mid-july? well i do, so get used to it -_-
i also saw pirates of the caribbean relatively recently (keep in mind i haven't updated in abouttttt a month so im just letting it all out) actually i saw it the day after it came out w/ scott ndddddd brian. it was pretty good, but longgggg and long is an understatement. why does every movie have to be 2 and a half hours lately? i mean its just excessive, being concise never killed anybody. have (legitamite) movies ever been criticized for being too short?
im going to spain w/ the familia from aug. 4th to the 16th which will be cool, and is my primary motivation for knocking off that summer work. we're starting off in madrid. then we're either gonna take a train directly across to barcelona, or drive along the coast.
upon returning from that excursion... my cousins from california (and don't bother asking if they're sane or not, all my cousins are INsane) um so i mean im not ecstatic about that, but its fun to beat them in video games and and ping pong. (wait don't i do that already to...) then after that im gonna be going to the us open (tennis for you clueless people) one or 2 days during the 3rd round/round of 16 with good tickets by dad got from this guy who knows a guy...
and then that leaves me to the 1st week of september, school, yea... but my sister's leaving for college that weekend so we'll be in boston from that friday to the sunday.
on a completely irrelevent side note, aki introduced me to youtube.com and im like this is stupid isn't it? and he's like no, and yea there was some funny stuff on it, parodies... yea you get the idea. but so thts cool.
trying to think anything else i can occupy your time by telling you about..??, nope.
