yea..so i got some mail today. this pack thingy...
it was from the people to people ambassador program....
they invite teens who have been recommended (or who 'stand out') to go on trips to places in the world...whether it be in or not in the U.S....
some places like japan, australia (!), europe, south america and here IN america....
i was invited to the one in europe (spain, italy and france) back in august....
at first i said no i couldnt go cuz it costs 5 thousand and the timing of the trip SUCKS (its most likely gonna screw with my rifle stuff...the three national competitions msgt wants me to go to in kentucky)
even though i decided to say no, i still went to the meeting they hold for EVERYONE who was invited to go n check it out...
i changed my mind.
yea..so then i signed up for the 'personal interview' (which was basically me n four other kids at this meeting with three adults who decided if we were 'the right kinda kid' to go *that sounds bad..a real conceided program..but its not*)....
i was accepted.
yea.......im happy, but at the same time i kinda wish i wasnt accepted because i just KNOW its gonna screw things up with me n nationals..grRar lol
but yea..i wanna go to this thing cuz its a 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience (lol although i CAN be invited to go on another trip if they like me enough....) and they set it up where we get to stay at peoples homes n go to 'classes' for culinary and BULL FIGHTING! (LOL i just thought i should mention that..cuz its true!) and it also counts gives us a history credit....and its a trip to europe, WTF i NEVER thoughtd id EVER be able to go anywhere you have to leave land for (yea dont add the fact that i flew to florida..meaning i left land...).....lol ive always wanted to go to 'other places in the world'...and i DOUBT ill be able to when im older for something like a vaca....only on business cuz i wanna join the military..and theyll send me all over but i dont wanna go somewhere and NOT enjoy my time because im fighting or something........i wanna enjoy my stay and experinece things you cant here in the US...which is sorta what this trip is about...
so yea. i wanna go but at the same time i dont want to. lol
and since im trying to 'catch a free ride' (or at least as close as i can) to college with scholarships n the military paying for it if i join, my mom said i can try and earn money before the trip and whatever money i dont have yet i can take out from my bank account...............
yep. i dont wanna write anymore..so im out. lol
