[The radio cuts on to the sound of footsteps - which are abruptly drowned out by loud, energetic barking and the scrable of claws on wood floors. The footsteps stop, and Veda's dry voice cuts in with a sigh]

Three points for enthusiam, I suppose. I don't know if it counts if you always do that, though.
