Click to viewA deer did jump out in front of the car I was driving recently (I've been out in rural Nebraska again), but it got across the road before the car could hit it. Also spotted were pheasants, turkeys, geese, llamas, goats, Palomino horses, Holstein cows, a loose dog, a small hawk, and a stray cat. Then there were all the dead animals on the road, on the walls, on dinner plates.
