So, some folks (coyotegestalt, redhilltown, kinetikatrue and chickenfeet2003) have done rounds of literary boticelli, and I won the last one, so I'm hosting this round. I wondered about that - wracked my brains to remember if there was a female mouse in Narnia :) Reepicheep is a pretty secure male, too, I would think, even if he seems content with his bachelor state...
